stillwater beach walk

DURATION: Approx 3 hours

This is a lovely, scenic and easy walk - so long as you head along at low tide! It'll take you through a bit of farmland towards the coast where you navigate your way around the coast (hence why doing at low-tide will make it easier for you) until you come along to the historic Dacre Cottage (if you want to read more about Dacre Cottage check out this site). It's great to head out on a sunny day, pack a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

To get there, head out on the northern motorway, towards Silverdale and Orewa beach. Take the Silverdale exit, head towards the right and look for the sign for East Coast Road. The road to Stillwater will soon be on the left.
